The canvas has been laid onto board, which has bowed slightly (vertically; convex) at the corners, but is in overall good condition. There is an area of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, to the extreme lower left corner, and a thick varnish. The canvas weave is not parallel due to its being laid on board. Held in a simple, black-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
