Condition
The panel is flat and even. Apart from a handful of pinhead-sized spots of retouching visible under ultra-violet light, overall this work is in very good original condition.
Held in a gold-painted coved and fluted gold-painted wood and plaster frame, with a white cloth inner inset.
The colours in the original are richer than in the catalogue illustration.
