The necklace set with 16 cabochon rubies weighing approximately 53.00 carats and numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 8.70 carats, suspending a pendant set with nine cabochon rubies weighing approximately 25.75 carats and numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 6.60 carats; the earrings set with four cabochon rubies weighing approximately 12.00 carats and numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 1.80 carats; necklace length 15½ inches, pendant detaches and may be worn as a brooch.
Condition
In good condition overall with minor discoloration at spots to the gold. Rubies are a deep, purplish-red, heavily included and nearly opaque with some light surface scratching and chipping. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. Necklace fitted with a safety closure. Pendant can detach and be worn as a brooch or as a pendant on a chain.
