The turtle shell set with an emerald carved with foliate motifs, measuring approximately 33.4 by 32.9 by 19.6 mm, with two cabochon emerald eyes, the legs, tail and head set with numerous round diamonds measuring approximately 3.50 carats, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered N.Y.47811.
Condition
In good condition. The carved emerald is a translucent, medium light green with an intricate floral carving. The two emerald "eyes" are bright, medium green with some some chipping to the top of the cabochons. The diamonds are approximately E-G color, VS clarity with a small number of SI examples. The brooch fitting on the reverse can un-screw to allow the turtle to sit flat.
