Launched at Basel in 2011 the 5961P utilizes Patek Philippe’s first in-house annual calendar chronograph movement, the caliber CH 28-520. Based on the Ref. 5960P, the case and buckle of the Ref. 5961 is adorned with 58 baguette diamonds with a total weight of 4.68 carats. In addition to the bezel, the matt blue dial hour markers are set with baguette-cut diamonds as is the deployant buckle with famous Calatrava cross. The overall combination of platinum case, blue dial and use of baguettes make this one of the most striking and attractive diamond watches in proওduction. This is the first time a Patek Philippe Ref. 5961 has been offered at auction.
