Condition
Manual winding movement running and minute repeating function in working order while cataloguing. Dial looks nice and clean. Case and buckle with minor surface scuffs from light wear. Overall appears in very good condition. Back of the case numbered No 138/500 and 270.2.73. **The strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species, please refer to important notices for further information**.

Created by the Jaeger LeCoultre research and development team un𒐪der the guidance of master watchmaker Christian Laurent, the reverso minute repeater movement took over a year to develop and was the world’s first minute-repeating wristwatch to incorporate shaped gongs. Constrained by space, the movement had to be💃 miniaturized and slimmed-down to fit into the classic size case while still retaining an audible and pleasant-toned chime. Released in 1994 the minute repeating reverso was made in a limited edition of 500 pieces.
