Catalogue Note
This watch was sold to its original owner in Lausanne on November 28th 1922 for 4'000 Swiss Francs. It is very interesting to note that the first chronograph watch produced by Patek Philippe in 1926 was sold for 2'135 Swiss Francs, almost half the price of this charismatic Art Deco wristwatch.
Very few of these lady's jewellery watches have survived, especially ones in such good condition and accompanied by the original box, certificate and invoice. This typical Art Deco watch can be consider as a unique piece. Furthermore the movement number attributed to this watch belongs to complicated or special caliber of that period.
