Condition
The canvas is lined and there is a thick layer of varnish. UV examination reveals some areas of retouching running along the upper, left and right edges, and a further few fine lines of retouching to the lower edge. These retouchings probably relate to previous frame rubbing. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though slightly less red overall.
