Condition
The canvas is not lined and UV examination reveals no evidence of retouching. There are some fine lines of slightly raised craquelure in places, mainly to the right half of the sky. There is a diagonal line of paint shrinkage towards the upper left corner. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the sky is slightly less purple in the original.
