Condition
The canvas is not lined and UV examination reveals no evidence of retouching, though there are some traces of an old varnish in places. There are some fine lines of craquelure, mainly to the white pigments. Otherwise, this work is in overall very good condition.
Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the blues in the sky are slightly more subtle in the original.
