The canvas is lined and there are areas of retouching visible under UV light, mainly around the edges and in the background. There is light frame rubbing to the edges with some associated minor paint losses. There are fine lines of craquelure in places and light paint shrinkage to the blue pigment. Otherwise, this work is in stable condition.
Colours: overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though slightly brighter in the original.
