Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, laid down on card, and taped to the overmount along all four edges. The sheet is time-stained and there are a few small air-bubbles and tiny creases due to the laying down process. There is some paper skinning to the figure's right knee and some scattered foxing to the verso of the card that the work is laid down on. There are two small areas of pale discolouration to the lower right corner. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Colours: the papertone is overall less red in the original, compared to the printed catalogue.
