Condition
The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals some retouchings in places, the most prominent of which are some some vertical lines to the lower edge, and some further spots to the cage. There are some fine lines of craquelure in places, mainly towards the upper left quadrant and some white spots of surface dirt, mainly to the lower right quadrant. There are some minute paint losses in places. Otherwise, this work is in overall fairly good condition.
Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though overall fresher and lighter in the original.
