The work is in very good condition. The canvas has not been lined. Very faint lines of stable cracking are visible to the thickest pigments, for example the whites in the street and the church dome. Very slight frame abrasion is visible to the extreme right edge and extreme bottom left corner. Under UV light: the dark blue pigments fluoresce but no inpainting is apparent.
