The work is in very good condition and the canvas has not been lined. The surface features a rich and well-preserved impasto and the colors are exceptionally fresh and vibrant. Under UV light: thin and minor brushstrokes of inpainting are visible toward the outer edges, primarily focused along the extreme left edge as well as the extreme bottom right edge, most likely to address previous frame abrasion. Two larger spots of retouching are present, one circular spot a half inch in diameter within the light blue pigment toward the lower left edge, the other a couple strokes running approximately 1.5 inches vertically above the green pot at center left. Otherwise good.
