Condition
The work is in very good condition. The canvas has not been lined. The work features thick and varied impasto which has been well-preserved. Scattered thin lines of stable cracking are visible in some places, including to the lighter and thicker pigments in the sky as well as in the road at bottom center. Under UV light a few nailhead-sized spots of retouching are visible scattered within the sky and a thick layer of varnish is difficult to read through.
