Condition
Canvas is not lined. Surface is slightly dirty in places. A very rich impasto is well preserved, however there is a thin web of craqueleur that extends throughout most of the sky and a few places in the foreground. This appears to be stable and there are no associated losses. Under UV light a layer of varnish is somewhat difficult to read through and the varnish itself fluoresces unevenly in places, however no inpainting is apparent. Work is in good condition.
