The sheet has been laid down on panel. There are some small, minor tears as well as frame abrasion to the extreme outer edges of the sheet. The surface is a little dirty and covered with a thin layer of varnish. Wooden bands have been affixed to the extreme outer edges of the panel for framing. Under UV light: scattered broad strokes of inpainting are visible, particularly in the area of the figure's neck.
