This painting has recently been restored. It is in good condition. The canvas has been lined using Beva-371 as an adhesive. The stretcher is original and the tacking edges are intact. The painting is cleaned, very lightly varnished and retouched. The retouches can be found under ultraviolet light examination in the deep blue color beneath the table in the center left, a few spots on the far right edge, and a few other small dots to the lower right of the white jug. The signature is unrestored. It is recommended that the work be hung as is.
