Executed on buff colored wove paper mounted on canvas. The edges have been reinforced with tape. The areas of visible sheet appear somewhat time darkened and there are scattered creases, including in the vicinity of the vertical stretcher bar mark along the center, throughout the sheet which extend into the paint layer. The work has recently been cleaned and lightly varnished and presents nicely. Under UV light strokes of inpainting are visible at the extreme edges, along the right side and near the upper left corner as well as along the left half of the top edge. There are a few small spots around the remainder of the perimeter and a few small strokes throughout the composition to address creases in the sheet. This work is in good condition.
