Condition
Executed on cream laid paper laid down on canvas. There are artist's pinoles to all four corners and some minor glue remnants to parts of the extreme lower edge. UV examination reveals a tiny speck of retouching to the centre of the upper edge and a further few specks towards the lower edge. There is a small area of discolouration to her hairline. The sheet is slightly time-stained, and there is some very minor foxing in places. There is a flattened horizontal crease along the extreme lower edge. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the blues are slightly brighter in the original.
