Condition
The canvas is lined. There is an uneven layer of varnish through which the UV light cannot fully penetrate, but UV examination does reveal a few small spots of retouching in places, the most prominent of which is to the second left dog. There is a small paint loss to the upper right corner, and some fine lines of craquelure in places. Otherwise, this work is in overall fairly good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though slightly more vibrant in the original.
