Condition
The canvas is lined. There is an uneven layer of varnish. UV examination reveals some scattered spots of retouching in places, most prominently to the red fish in the centre, to the left of the table and one to the right of the bowl which relates to previous damage. There are a few surface scratches towards the extreme lower edge. Otherwise, this work is in overall fairly good condition.
