Condition

This painting is unlined and stretched on what appears to be its original stretcher. Tamayo's complex use of gritty materials in his pigment is very much in evidence throughout this work. There appears to be one small loss in the right elbow of the male figure. Elsewhere, there are no apparent losses or restorations. The work should be hung in its current state, if this small restoration is attended to. This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report.
