Condition
The panel is in good condition considering its age. The painted panel exhibits an aged surface that displays minor dimensional cracking below the painted surface. Tiny fissures caused by movement in the wood can be seen on the surface of the cream colored panels. Areas of brittle paint that are lifting were noted along the bottom front face of the outer panel and up it's outside PL edge. Tiny scratches in the paint were found on the PR top corner of the outside panel. A small band of inpainting was observed on the top edge of the PL vertical panel. The painted panel in general displays minor soiling. The pinstriped panel is crisp and legible Faint scratches in the paint can be seen along the bottom edge of the pinstriped panel where the hanging bar has rubbed up against the panel. The suspended painted metal bar is in good condition. The seams in the outer panel have opened slightly making the joints more visible. The panel is structurally sound.
