Condition

This work is still on its original stretcher and has received no reinforcements on the reverse. On the right side of the reverse, faint vertical stains are visible, but these do not appear to have any repercussions on the surface. The canvas has relaxed slightly in the lower right corner, which can be carefully tightened if required. The painting itself is typical of the artist's complex works, and the scraping, scratching and dullness of the finish are all original. The only possible loss is on the extreme edge of the center right, where the work may have been abraded by the frame. The condition is extremely good.
