Description

Opening to reveal separate compartments for makeup, a lighter and a tortoiseshell hair comb, the lid decorated with invisibly-set calibré-cut sapphires and a monogram with the letters F N P H, measurements approximately 150 x 115 x 20 mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered, maker's marks.

Condition

Stamped Styptor. Minaudière signed Van Cleef & Arpels with maker's mark, lighter and inside case signed VCA, numbered 41086. Sapphires medium to dark blue, typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification. Traces of make-up visible in some compartments. Hair comb in good condition. Scratches visible consistent with wear. One compartment slightly loose, could benefit from attention by professional jeweller. In good condition.
