The square dial applied with blued steel hands and baton indicators, to a bracelet set with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 165mm, movement signed Jaeger Le Coultre, accompanied by case, Jaeger Le Coultre.
Provenance
The Jaeger Le Coultre Calibre 101 is the smallest mechanical movement ever ma🍎de and was first designed in 1929 to be in keeping with the fashion for ladies to wear dainty jewellery watches. Since then the watches have only been made a few times each year, making it highly collectable. It is known that Queen Elizabeth II wore a Calibre 101 on the day of her Coronation in 1953.

Stamped Pt950 for platinum. Movement signed Jaeger Le Coultre with maker's marks. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.50 carats, estimated colour G-I, estimated clarity VS on average. Clasp fitting secure, seamless when closed. Abrasions to mount consistent with wear. In good condition.
