Description
Suspending a tassel of seed pearls and lapis lazuli beads, to a carved lapis lazuli cupola mount millegrain-set with rose and single-cut diamonds, to a silk cord set with enamel tassels, length approximately 345mm, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Pendant with French assay marks and stamped Pt 950 for platinum, maker's marks for Cartier. Clasp with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and maker's marks. Pendant numbered CC2601. Seed pearls of white to silvery white colour, good lustre, some blemishes. Lapis lazuli varying in colour from lighter blue to dark blue, some with typical veining. Onyx in good condition. Black and white enamel with some areas of loss and remodelling. Diamonds bright and lively. Clasp secure. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
