Of open work design, the graduated oval rubies framed by interwoven lines of marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 165mm, signed Gübelin and numbered, maker's marks.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Signed Gübelin 2002-3, stamped PT 950 for platinum and OR on the clasp for gold. Largest ruby measuring approximately 8.50 x 7.85 x 3.75mm and smallest measuring approximately 5.95 x 4.75 x 2.50mm, estimated to weigh between 0.50 and 1.80 carats each, as gauged in mounting with some typical crystal inclusions visible under close inspection, few surface reaching, few scratches, nicks and abrasions to the surface. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.50-9.50 carats, estimated H-J colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure with safety catches to either side. Signs of normal wear to the metal, solder marks to reverse shows sign of repair, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
