Comprising: a ring claw-set with a star ruby and decorated with carved emerald leaves and single-cut diamonds, size 48, French assay and maker's marks; a clip-brooch designed as a dragon set with cabochon emeralds, a marquise-shaped ruby, single-cut diamonds and cultured pearls, one diamond deficient; together with a circular open work clip set with cabochon emeralds, sapphires, rubies and a turquoise, along with cultured pearls, circular- and single-cut diamonds, French maker's mark.

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Ring stamped with French assay mark and 750 for 18 carat gold, maker's mark; dragon stamped with 14 K and 585 for 14 carat gold; round brooch stamped 750 for 18 carat gold and Pt 950 for platinum. Coloured stones well matched, with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, some scratches, nicks and abrasions on the surface, turquoise partially with discolouration. Pearls of white to cream body colour, fair to good lustre, few blemishes and growth marks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.50 - 5.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Star ruby very slightly loose in mount, some diamonds on dragon brooch fractured, one deficient. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
