The cushion-shaped ruby weighing 6.28 carats, between triangular diamond shoulders, size 52.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.
Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 65269, stating that the ruby measuring 13.18 x 10.91 x 4.47mm, is of Thai origin, with indications of heating. Ruby with very good transparency, with few visible crystal inclusions visible to the naked eye, few minor nicks to the girdle visible under x10 magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.50 carats, bright and lively, as gauged and graded in yellow gold mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In good condition.
