Description

Designed as a line of channel-set baguette diamonds, suspending a garland composed of a series of graduated step-cut emeralds, interspersed with scrolls of baguette, marquise- and brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 380mm, the detachable emerald garland may be worn as a bracelet, length approximately 180mm.

Condition

Stamped PT950 for platinum and OR on clasp for gold, maker's mark, numbered 610. Graduated emeralds measuring, from the male clasp end, approximately: 6.7 x 6.5 x 5.3mm, 7.3 x 6.8 x 4.4mm, 7.9 x 7.2 x 6mm, 9 x 7.7 x 7.1mm, 9 x 8.8 x 7.6mm, 10.6 x 9.4 x 8.1mm, 9.1 x 8.3 x 7.0mm, 8.9 x 8 x 6.6mm, 8.5 x 7.7 x 6.1mm, 7.6 x 6.8 x 7mm, 6.9 x 6.8 x 6.7 and weighing a total of approximately 30.00-35.00 carats, as gauged in mounting. Emeralds with good transparency, very good saturation, few typical crystal inclusions visible to the naked eye, very few surface reaching, scratch on table of emerald second from right end, small nick to girdle of emerald fourth from left visible under x10 magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 32.00-38.00 carats, G-I colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Detachable garland may be worn as a bracelet, length approximately 180mm. Claps secure with safety bottom safety catches. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In good condition.
