The corsage ornament of bud and leaf design, embellished with three articulated trailing vines of foliate motif en pampille, set with cushion-shaped, circular-, single-cut, and rose diamonds, one diamond deficient, drops detachable, together with a pair of pendent ear clips of similar design, the detachable drops terminating on natural pearls, French assay marks.
Condition
Corsage ornament: diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 25.00-30.00 carats, mixed in colour and clarity, on average I-K colour, SI-I clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Extra pendant hook and screw fittings show signs of later alternation to brooch. Metal with signs of oxidation, abrasions consistent with use. In good condition.
Ear clips: French import marks for gold and silver on ear clips. According to the SSEF report, the larger drop-shaped pearls measuring approximately 7.05 x 7.10 x 8.15mm and 6.85 x 6.85 x 7.85mm respectively, the smaller pearls measuring approximately 5.75 x 6.05 x 7.65mm and 6.10 x 6.15 x 7.20mm respectively, all slightly cream in body colour with excellent skin. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.50-4.50 carats, as gauged and graded in mounting, mixed colours and clarities, bright and lively. Metal with sign of tarnish and wear consistent with age, few signs of soldering to reverse. In good condition.
