Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a letter from Oscar Heyman stating that the platinum and diamond bracelet stamped 23521 and PAT. OCT. 31, 1922 was made by Oscar Heyman.

The bracelet offered here was made in the decade of the 1920’s when rectilinear and geometric forms dominated jewelry design.  Oscar Heyman & Brothers, founded in 1912 as a manufacturing jeweler in New York, produced jewelry of the highest quality for several prominent jewelry firms. Although they did not sign their pieces, thanks to their meticulous record-keeping and the serial number on this bracelet, the identification of its maker was made possible.
