The articulated snake set with numerous graduating turquoise cabochons, the head accented by one Dutch rose-cut diamond and two cabochon garnet eyes, the eyes highlighted by small rose-cut diamonds, the snake's mouth is open to reveal sculpted gold fangs and serves as the clasp, length 15¼ inches, one turquoise missing. With fitted case signed Harvey & Gore.
Condition
In good condition with overall surface wear and light scratching commensurate with age. The numerous turquoise cabochons range from medium-light blue to slightly greenish blue; a number of examples are a medium bluish green. The center rose-cut diamond is approximately I-J color, SI clarity, and the 8 small round diamonds surrounding the center diamond are approximately G-H color and decorative in quality. The 2 cabochon garnets are a richly saturated deep red. Total gross weight approximately 37 dwts. Well made and nicely flexible. Fitted with a safety closure.
