Set with three oval cabochons of lapis lazuli and two oval chalcedony cabochons, with French assay marks and maker's marks for Societé Darde et Companie.

Condition

In good condition overall. The translucent chalcedony cabochons present subtle light yellow and white color banding consistent with agate. The lapis lazuli cabochons show light color mottling, with varying degrees of pyrite flecking. Glue residue evident to the reverse of two stones. Approximate length 3 inches. Accompanied by Certificate of Authenticity no. B39510152012 from Belperron LLC., stating that the brooch was manufactured in Paris between 1970 and 1974 by the company Jean Herz-Suzanne Belperron from a design by Suzanne Belperron.
