The brooch of openwork design set with numerous old European, single-cut and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 3.00 carats, mounted in platinum, with Hungarian assay marks, circa 1935; together with a pendant suspending two natural pearl drops measuring approximately 19.3 by 11.9 by 11.2 mm and 9.3 by 8.6 by 8.5 mm, respectively, accented by old mine and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately .40 carat, mounted in platinum, gold and silver, circa 1900.
Condition
In good condition overall. The pearl drop has a creamy white body color, medium luster with no visible blemishing. The slightly off round pearl has a light gray body color, with medium luster and very minimal blemishing. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. The brooch component was added later. The pin stem bears Hungarian assay mark for 1937-1966. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2145852582 stating the pearls are natural, saltwater.
