The double-strand necklace composed of 200 natural pearls measuring approximately 7.8 to 2.7 mm, completed by a clasp set with an emerald-cut emerald framed by single-cut diamonds, length approximately 18½ inches.
Condition
In good condition overall. The round to slightly off-round pearls exhibit cream to creamy white body colors, partly with rose and green overtones, medium to good luster, with some examples of wrinkling, pitting and peeling throughout; otherwise fairly clean skins. The tongue of the clasp stamped with an Hungarian assay mark for 14K gold. The emerald in the clasp is a light, blue-green, lightly included. The 12 single-cut diamonds weigh approximately .35 carat, and are approximately J-L color, VS-SI clarity. Fitted with a safety clasp. The string is stretched and needs restringing. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 64770 stating the pearls are natural, saltwater.
