Designed as a Maltese cross set with four oval-shaped sapphires, four cushion-cut rubies and nine oval and pear-shaped emeralds, accented by numerous round, pear and marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 16.40 carats, unsigned; fitted with pendant loop, the 18 karat gold frame is detachable. With box signed Harry Winston.
Condition
In very good condition. Comprising 40 pear-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 8.00 carats, numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 7.60 carats, 8 marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately .80 carat. The diamonds are approximately E-H color, VVS-VS clarity. The sapphires are medium deep slightly violetish blue, the rubies are medium deep slightly purplish red and the emeralds are a bright medium green. The colored stones are of good clarity. The gold frame is detachable. A copy of the invoice pertaining to this lot has been provided by Harry Winston; the invoice describes the piece as a "reef" pin. According to the consignor, the piece was a special commission from Winston.
