Centered by an emerald-cut yellow sapphire weighing approximately 32.50 carats, framed by round emeralds, round and cushion-cut sapphires and numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 4.50 carats, size 8½, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, partially numbered N.Y.3869. With signed pouch.
Condition
In good condition overall, with some minor discoloration to the gold commensurate with age. The sapphire is light yellow, eye-clean with some evidence of surface scratching and abrading to the facet junctions and girdle commensurate with wear. The sapphires are a medium slightly violetish blue, lightly included and well matched for color. The emeralds are decorative in quality. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. Partial number may be 38699.
