Description
- David Webb
- gold, platinum, cultured pearl, diamond, emerald, enamel
Composed of 11 strands of cultured pearls and gold beads, the clasp with two opposing leopards applied with black enamel spots, set with four cabochon emerald eyes and accented by numerous single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.05 carats, length 7½ inches, signed Webb.
Condition
In very good condition. The cultured pearls are round, creamy white with moderate rose and green overtones and tightly strung. The emerald cabochon "eyes" are medium green and lightly included, with one cabochon showing slight abrasions to the top of the dome. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. There are small spots of enamel damage on two of the leopard's ears, but it is otherwise intact. The clasp is operated by squeezing the two teardrop-shaped gold segments by the leopard's head, fitted with a safety closure.
