Centered by a sugarloaf cabochon sapphire weighing 8.42 carats, framed by round diamonds weighing approximately 1.15 carats, size 6.
Condition
In good condition overall. The sapphire is a rich, evenly saturated blue, with diagonal zoning apparent in a transmitted light focused on the top of the stone from directly above, but not readily visible in ambient light. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VVS-VS clarity. Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 0806211 stating the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating.
