Of oval shape and fluted design, the thumbpiece set with a cabochon sapphire and completed by a yellow tassel, gross weight approximately 213 dwts, measuring approximately 6 by 3¼ by 1¼ inches, signed Bulgari, Italy, numbered IL49 and 345, with maker's marks. With an unsigned fitted suede case.
Condition
Some slight scratching and nicking to the surface of the bag, due to light use; but in good condition overall. The sapphire thumbpiece is of decorative quality. Hefty and comfortable in the hand. The tassel is a lighter shade of orange than depicted in the printed catalogue. Numbered IL49 on exterior loop. Numbered 345 on interior. Lined with brown suede. Tassel length 12½ inches; detachable.
