Condition
The support consists of two stable horizontal panels which have a very slight bow. The paint surface appears to the naked eye to be in good condition and under a slightly discoloured varnish. There is a small loss lower left (visible in catalogue) as well as two small losses along the left edge. Inspection under UV light reveals some minor retouched surface scratches centre right and centre left. Some older retouchings can be made out to the background upper left and upper centre. These, as well as some other minor retouchings, have all been sympathetically applied. Offered in a modern wooden frame in good condition.
