The complete set of four screenprints in colours, circa 2005, after paintings from 1982-1984, each numbered 40/85 in pencil, with the estate stamp verso, signed in pencil and dated by Gerard Basquiat (Admistrator of the Estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat and DeSanctis Carr Fine Art), published by David DeSanctis Contemporart Art, Pub., , Los Angeles, on Saunders 410 Hot Watercolour paper
Condition
The full sheets printed to the edges, the colours fresh, each unframed.
Cabeza (sheet: 1385 by 1007mm; 54½ by 39 5/8 in) in good condition apart from a rectangular area of skinning at upper edge of sheet verso associated with previous hinging.
Charles the First (sheet: 1554 by 1214mm; 61½ by 47 7/8 in) in good condition apart from a short diagonal crease at upper right extreme tip of sheet and with the layers of paper in this area split as a a result of the creasing, a diagonal handling crease in upper right image.
Jawbone off an ass (sheet: 1083 by 1521mm; 42 5/8 by 59 7/8 in) in good condition apart from a short horizontal crease along upper left edge of sheet, remains of hinged tape at two places verso along upper edge of sheet, with associated slight skinning.
Rome pays off (sheet: 1113 by 1010mm; 43 7/8 by 39¾in) in good condition.
