Condition
These photographs, on lightly textured double weight paper with a surface sheen, are in generally excellent condition. The edges are slightly worn, with insignificant attendant chipping. On the reverse of the prints are 'Ashby/Connolly Collection' stamps.
Wystan Hugh Auden (looking left) - There are 2 tiny matte deposits to the left of the sitter's shoe.
Wystan Hugh Auden (looking right) - There is a soft, thumbprint-sized crease near the upper left edge.
Wystan Hugh Auden (looking ahead) - There are 2 soft creases in the upper left quadrant, and a small sharp crease in the lower left corner.
