Provenance
Acquired from Fahey/Klein Gallery, Los Angeles
Condition
This print, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally good condition. The margin edges are rubbed, the corners are bumped, and there is creasing at the right upper and lower margin corners. The 3 1/2-inch vertical crease at the lower corner begins at the margin edge, extending into the print about 2 inches. It runs about 1/16-inch parallel to the print edge. There are light, rust-colored deposits at the right margin edge that do not affect the print. There are pin holes in each of the four margin corners.
When examined in raking light, 3 small, soft creases are visible, as well as a number of circular, matte pinpoint deposits, possibly foxing. These are not visible under normal viewing conditions.
On the reverse, there are two small abrasions near the top edge. 'CPB-RP-043' is in pencil at the lower left corner.
