Although this diptych has not been examined out of its frame, it appears to be in generally excellent condition. Occasional pitting is visible, as is typical of the ferrotyping process. Upon close examination, a one-and-1/2-inch sharp crease is visible in the sky area of the right print. The diptych is sealed between plexiglas and a backboard, with a wire hanger attached with two pieces of duct tape.
