Condition
This warm-toned photograph, on textured matte-surface paper, is in generally good to very good condition. Silvering is visible in the dark areas along the upper and lower edges of the print. Upon close examination are the following: a small white semi-opaque deposit of indeterminate nature near the upper edge; 2 small matte deposits in the upper left quadrant; 2 small rust-colored deposits in the lower left quadrant; and a few matte areas of darker tonality in the upper right quadrant.
The right edge of the print is worn with attendant tiny losses of emulsion. The upper left edge of the print is thinly trimmed 5-inches in length.
The mount is worn, with multiple small losses and chips at the periphery. The reverse of the mount is soiled.
